2. Services Offered
Premier Gutters KC provides residential gutter installation, replacement, cleaning, repair, gutter guard installation (LeafBlaster Pro), downspout services, fascia and soffit repair, wood rot repair, and related services across the Kansas City metropolitan area. 3. Quotes and Estimates
Free estimates are provided in good faith based on visual inspection of your property. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Quotes may be adjusted if:
- The actual scope of work differs materially from the quoted scope (e.g., hidden fascia rot discovered during installation)
- Additional services are added by mutual agreement
- Material costs change significantly before installation begins
We will notify you of any changes before work begins, and you may decline the changes at no cost.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and ACH transfers. Payment is typically due upon completion of work unless otherwise arranged in writing. For larger commercial projects, a deposit may be required at the time of scheduling.
Late payments may accrue interest at 1.5% per month after 30 days. Returned checks are subject to a $35 processing fee.
5. Scheduling and Cancellation
Scheduled appointments require 24-hour notice for rescheduling or cancellation. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a trip-charge fee, which is typically waived if rescheduled within 7 days.
Weather may require rescheduling for safety reasons. We will notify you as early as possible and reschedule at the next available opportunity at no charge.
6. Property Access and Preparation
You agree to:
- Provide clear access to your gutters and downspouts on the day of service
- Remove or relocate fragile items (potted plants, patio furniture, etc.) near work areas
- Secure pets safely indoors during the appointment
- Disclose any known hazards (wasp nests, weak roof areas, etc.) before work begins
We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed hazards or items left in our work area.
7. Workmanship Warranty
Premier Gutters KC backs every new installation with a 25-year written workmanship warranty, transferable to subsequent property owners. The warranty covers:
- Leaks caused by improper installation
- Gutter detachment from fascia caused by inadequate fastening
- Miter or seam failures caused by improper sealing
- Defective workmanship in any installation we performed
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Damage from severe weather events (hail, tornadoes, fallen trees) — these are typically covered by homeowners insurance
- Damage from accumulated debris in gutters where the homeowner declined gutter guards
- Damage from third-party work performed on your roof or fascia after our installation
- Material defects (which are covered by separate manufacturer warranties)
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic fading, or oxidation of finishes
To initiate a warranty claim, contact us at (816) 469-9563 with your installation date and a description of the issue. We will inspect within 14 days and resolve any qualifying warranty claim at no charge.
8. Manufacturer Warranties
Materials we install (gutters, downspouts, LeafBlaster Pro guards) carry manufacturer warranties that vary by product. We will provide manufacturer warranty documentation at the time of installation. Manufacturer warranty claims are governed by the manufacturer's terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Missouri law, Premier Gutters KC's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, lost business, or lost data
- Damages from events outside our reasonable control (acts of God, severe weather, materials shortages)
- Damages caused by misuse, modification, or third-party work performed after our installation
10. Insurance
Premier Gutters KC carries general liability insurance ($2,000,000) and workers' compensation insurance for all employees. Certificates of insurance are available upon request. All work is performed by trained, insured Premier Gutters KC personnel.
11. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. Specifically, you will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract data
- Misrepresent your identity or submit false quote requests
- Use the site to transmit malicious code or spam
12. Intellectual Property
