Our commitment
Premier Gutters KC is committed to ensuring that our website, premiergutterskc.com, is accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our content.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Descriptive alt text on informational images
- Sufficient color contrast on body text and interactive elements
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields)
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
- Skip-to-main-content link for screen reader users
- Reduced-motion preference honored via
prefers-reduced-motion - ARIA labels on icon-only controls and navigation regions
- Form fields with associated visible labels
Known limitations
Some content on our site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known areas we are actively improving:
- Some third-party embeds (Jobber quote form, Google Maps) inherit the accessibility of their respective platforms, which we cannot directly modify.
- PDF documents may not have full assistive-tech tagging. Contact us for an accessible alternative.
- Some legacy blog images may have generic or missing alt text. We are auditing and updating these.
