What is a Gutter Miter?

A miter is the corner joint where two perpendicular gutter runs meet. There are three common types: hand-cut miters (each side field-cut at 45 degrees and joined with rivets/sealant), box miters (a pre-fab corner piece that runs slip into), and strip miters (a flat bent metal cover — cheap and leaky).

Hand-cut miters are the premium option and the modern standard. They look cleanest, last longest, and are the only type Premier installs.
