Shawnee's western edge sees more wind exposure than central JoCo — heavier-gauge aluminum and tighter hanger spacing pay off here.
Local Issue #1
Hillside downspouts dumping at the foundation
On the hilly west-Shawnee lots out toward Monticello and Canyon Lakes, the original downspouts often discharge straight onto a downhill slope that erodes back toward the foundation. A replacement is the moment to fix it for good: we upsize undersized 5-inch runs to 6-inch, add right-sized downspouts where the old ones overflowed, and route discharge well past the slope so water stops undermining the house.
Local Issue #2
Aging 5-inch gutters drowning on wooded lots
The wooded lots around Wilder, Bristol Highlands, and Belmont Downs load gutters with heavy leaf and seed debris, and the thin builder-grade 5-inch aluminum on older Shawnee homes simply can't keep up — it clogs, overflows, and pulls loose from the fascia. We tear off the failing system and install heavier seamless aluminum sized to the roof, optionally paired with LeafBlaster Pro micro-mesh so the new gutters stay clear under the tree canopy.
Local Issue #3
Hail-damaged splits and complex multi-level runs
After a major KC hail storm, dented and split gutters on Shawnee's 1960s split-levels near Pflumm Road are frequently covered under a full insurance replacement — but those multi-level runs are tricky to tie together correctly. Our crews handle the complex split-level geometry, document the damage for your claim, and rebuild the entire system in heavier .032 seamless aluminum, color-matched to your siding.
