Do Christmas Light Installers Provide the Lights?
Most professional installers — including us — provide commercial-grade lights custom-cut to your home, included in the seasonal price. Many companies won't hang customer-owned retail lights at all.
This surprises people every year: professional Christmas lighting is almost always a lights-included service. The strands are commercial-grade C9 LEDs cut to the exact footage of your roofline, which is most of why pro displays look so much sharper than box-store strings — corners land on corners, spacing never drifts, and nothing sags by mid-December.
Why won’t most pros hang your own lights? Liability and quality. Retail strands fail at unpredictable rates, and no installer wants a service call for a product they didn’t supply. When the lights are ours, the mid-season guarantee is real: if a section goes dark, we come fix it.
The practical upside for you: no boxes in the garage, no untangling, no replacing half the strands every year. The lights show up in November and disappear in January.
