What is a Seamless Gutter?
Seamless Gutter: A gutter run cut to length on-site from a continuous aluminum coil — only one seam per run.
Full definition
A seamless gutter is a single piece of gutter cut to exact length on-site from a continuous aluminum coil using a portable forming machine ('coil machine' or 'brake'). The only seams in a seamless installation are at corner miters where two runs meet.
Seamless dramatically reduces leak risk compared to sectional gutters (pre-cut 10-foot pieces snapped together). Seamless is the modern residential standard; sectional is found mainly at DIY big-box stores.
