What is a K-Style Gutter?
K-Style Gutter: The dominant residential gutter profile in the US — flat-back design that resembles crown molding from the front.
Full definition
K-style is the most common residential gutter profile in the United States. The flat back nails directly to the fascia, and the decorative front face looks like classical crown molding. The shape gives roughly 20% more water-carrying capacity than half-round at the same nominal width.
K-style is the standard for 90% of KC homes built after 1940. Cheaper than half-round, more capacity, more color options.
