What is a Inside Corner?
Inside Corner: A 90-degree gutter corner that opens toward the house (vs an outside corner that opens away).
Full definition
An inside corner is a 90-degree gutter joint where the corner angle opens toward the house (the gutter wraps around an inward-bent corner of the roof). Inside corners are typically miter-cut at 45 degrees on each side and joined with rivets and sealant.
Most KC homes have a mix of inside and outside corners. Properly installed, both last 20+ years before re-sealing is needed.
