What is a Half-Round Gutter?
Half-Round Gutter: A true semicircle gutter profile — the original residential standard from 1900-1940.
Full definition
Half-round gutter is exactly what it sounds like: a true semicircle cross-section. It was the original residential gutter profile in the early 1900s and is still appropriate for craftsman bungalows, Tudor revivals, prairie homes, and any home in a historic district where period-appropriate aesthetics matter.
Half-round costs 30-50% more per linear foot than K-style but self-cleans better — debris washes through instead of wedging in corners.
