# What Gutter Cleaning Actually Costs in Kansas City (2026)

We're Premier Gutters KC, and we clean a lot of gutters — every week, all over the metro. This is the pricing page we wish every contractor published: what a cleaning actually costs here, why two similar houses get different quotes, what the $99 ads leave out, and the situations where you shouldn't pay us at all.

## What we actually charge

**Most KC homes: $200–$550 per visit.** Simple single-story homes usually land at the lower end of the range; two-story, steep-roof, or heavily treed properties at the upper end. Every job gets an exact written number before anything is scheduled — the range is for orientation, the quote is firm.

What that price includes, every time:

- A two-person crew with commercial leaf blowers
- Every section of gutter cleared: leaves, seed pods, shingle grit
- Every downspout blown clear to confirm water actually moves
- Ladder stabilizers so we never lean against your gutters or siding
- General liability and workers' comp insurance

## Why two similar-looking houses get different quotes

1. **Gutter footage and corners.** A sprawling ranch can carry more gutter than a boxy two-story.
2. **Stories and roof pitch.** Steep or third-story work slows the crew down.
3. **Access.** Fences, decks under the gutter line, landscaping, tight lot lines — ladder moves add time.
4. **How packed the gutters are.** A maintained home cleans fast; a first-cleaning-in-four-years home is a different job.

- The headline price covers a **small single-story home** up to a low included footage

- **Heavy debris** has its own fee, defined by whoever's standing on the ladder

By the time the teaser matches your actual house, it's usually in the same range as an honest flat quote — it just got there after you'd committed.

## What a legitimate quote looks like

- A **firm written number for your house**, not a starting price
- **All gutter sections and all downspouts** included — ask explicitly
- Says **how debris is handled**
- From a company with **general liability and workers' comp**
